As I’ve gotten older, the concept of simplicity has become very appealing. I find myself immersed in the process of editing. Whether in the realms of cooking, home decorating or gardening, I aspire to the adage, “Less is more”. In a garden this can mean such things as a more tightly edited plant pallet, simplifying paving patterns, using larger stones but less of them or perhaps choosing a still water feature rather than a tumble or cascade of water.
Regardless of the desired outcome, the process to get there is complex and involves many choices. It’s my role, and one I love, to help present the possibilities and help you to navigate the choices in order to arrive at the desired goal; an outdoor space, a garden you love to look at from inside your house and live in as often as you can.
